This guide sets out what RepRocket connects to, how each connection works, and what it does not connect to, so you can plan around it.
At a glance
| Connection | How it works | Set up in |
|---|---|---|
| Review sites (Google, Yelp, Facebook, any other) | Each funnel offers customers your review links as buttons | A funnel's Set up → Review links |
| Google review figures | Each location's Google listing is read every day | Settings → Locations |
| Alerts and follow-ups are sent for you by the built-in mail service | Recovery → Alerts; nothing else to set up | |
| Payments | Stripe takes payment for your plan | Plan and billing (Admin owner) |
| Your own domain | A CNAME record at your DNS host | Settings → Domains, Settings → White label |
| Spreadsheets, CRMs and reporting tools | CSV export | Ratings, a funnel's Ratings tab, Analytics |
Review sites
A review link is the address of the page where a customer writes a review of you. Add as many as you like to each funnel. RepRocket does not post anything to review sites and does not read your reviews' text; it sends customers there, and counts each time a review link is tapped.
See Review links: Google, Yelp, Facebook and other sites.
For each location, add its Google listing in Settings → Locations: find the business by name, or paste its place ID or a Google Maps link. RepRocket then reads, once a day and whenever you press Refresh on Ratings → Google:
- the rating Google shows, and the exact average behind it;
- the number of reviews at each star level;
- the total number of reviews, day by day.
The star counts come from the listing's public Google Maps page. When that does not give them, Google's Places data is used for the rating and the total.
There is no Google account to connect. RepRocket does not connect to your Google Business Profile account, so it cannot read review text or reply to reviews. Do that in your Google Business Profile.
See Showing your Google reviews for each location.
RepRocket sends two kinds of email, from Rep Support, with the location's name at the start of the subject:
- alerts to your team when a low rating arrives;
- one follow-up to a customer you have resolved, if they agreed to be contacted.
It is not an email marketing tool and sends no campaigns. See Email guide.
What RepRocket does not connect to
- No public API and no webhooks. Ratings cannot be pushed to another system automatically.
- No CRM, point-of-sale or booking-system connections.
- No text-message sending.
- No Google Business Profile account connection.
To move ratings into another tool, export them as CSV. See Tutorial: export ratings to a spreadsheet or CRM and Webhooks and connecting other systems.
If your business needs a connection that is not here, tell us what you use. Use Help → Chat with us in the dashboard, or email support@reprocket.app.
