Getting started
How to create your first review funnel
Make a funnel step by step: starting point, location, name, logo and review links.

A funnel is the page your customers rate their visit on. They open it by scanning a QR code or tapping a link, give one to five stars, and then see your review links. A low rating also lands in your recovery inbox, so you can put things right.
One funnel is enough for one business at one location. You can make as many as you need on every plan.
Before you start
- You need an account with a plan or a free trial. See Setting up your RepRocket account.
- Have the address of your Google review page to hand, and of any other review site you use. See Review links: Google, Yelp, Facebook and other sites.
Step by step
1. Start a new funnel
Press New funnel in the bar at the top of any screen. You can also open Funnels in the rail and start one there.
2. Pick a starting point
Choose The standard funnel, or a template for your kind of business (for example Café, Restaurant, Hair salon, Dental practice, Garage and auto repair, Hotel or B&B). A template sets the questions, the look and the wording. You can change all of it later.
3. Choose the location
If your account has more than one location, choose the one this funnel collects ratings for. Its QR cards follow it.
4. Name it and add a logo
- Funnel name: usually the business, or the location if you have several. Customers see it at the top of the page.
- Logo: optional. PNG, JPEG, SVG or WebP, up to 2 MB.
5. Add your review links
Add Google, Yelp, Facebook or any other site. For each one, paste the address of the page where a customer writes a review. The screen tells you where to find each link.
You can create the funnel without links, but then it shows No review link and happy customers have nowhere to go. Add one before you share it.
6. Create the funnel
Press Create funnel. The next screen, Ready to share, has the funnel's link and QR code. The preview beside it is the live page.
What the standard funnel does
- 4 or 5 stars: the customer is asked if they want to say a few words, then sees your review links. What they wrote is ready to copy into a review.
- 1 to 3 stars: the customer is asked what went wrong and whether you may contact them. If they say yes, they leave a name and a phone number or email. The thank-you screen then has a button, Leave more feedback or a review, that shows your review links.
Every customer can reach your review links. An unhappy customer reaches them one tap later, after you have offered to fix things. See How a funnel routes customers by rating.
After you create it
- Open the funnel and go to Share to copy the link or download the QR code.
- Go to Set up to change the name, the look, the review links, the address or the questions.
- Try it yourself: scan the code with your phone, leave a 5-star and a 1-star rating, and check that both show under the funnel's Ratings tab. The 1-star one is also in Recovery.
If something goes wrong
"Choose a plan" instead of the form
The account has no active plan, or its last payment did not go through. The Admin owner opens Plan and billing from the account menu at the foot of the rail to choose a plan or update the payment method. There is no limit on funnels once the account has a plan.
"The funnel was not created"
Check your connection and press Create funnel again. If a review link was not saved, the next screen says so; add it again in the funnel's Set up → Review links.
