Funnels for different services and locations
When to make another funnel, how to add a location, and how to compare them.
4 min read
Every plan includes as many funnels as you need. Make a second funnel when you want ratings kept apart: another service, another department, another team. For another place you run, add a location.
Funnels and locations
- A location is one place your business runs: a shop, a branch, a clinic. Each location has its own funnels, QR cards, coupons and people.
- A funnel belongs to one location. A location can have as many funnels as you like.
| You want to keep apart | Use |
|---|---|
| Two branches of the business | Two locations |
| Dine-in and takeaway at the same restaurant | Two funnels in one location |
| Each stylist in a salon | A funnel per stylist in one location |
How many locations your plan includes
| Plan | Locations |
|---|---|
| Business ($97 a month) | 1 |
| Business Mogul ($297 a month) | 5 included, then $30 a month for each extra location |
Every feature is on both plans. Only the number of locations differs. To add a second location on Business, the Admin owner moves the account to Business Mogul in Plan and billing. The change is prorated.
Make another funnel
- Press New funnel in the bar at the top of the screen.
- If you have several locations, choose the one this funnel is for.
- Pick a starting point, name it, and add its review links. See How to create your first review funnel.
Give each funnel a name customers recognise, such as "Joe's Coffee, High Street" or "Joe's Coffee, Takeaway". Customers see the name at the top of the page.
Add a location
The Admin owner and Admins can add locations.
- Open the location switcher at the top of the rail and choose New location, or go to Settings → Locations.
- Give it a name and, if you like, an address.
- Tick the funnels you want to copy from your other locations. A copy keeps the settings, the look, the logo and the questions.
- Add each copied funnel's review links. Review links are not copied, because a Google review link belongs to one place. The result screen links to each copy's Set up so you can add them.
- Add the location's Google listing in Settings → Locations so its Google figures appear. See Showing your Google reviews for each location.
On Business Mogul, a location past the five included is added to your subscription at $30 a month. The dialog states the price before anything is charged, and only the Admin owner can agree to it.
Switch between locations
The location switcher at the top of the rail names the location you are working in. Open it to switch. Choose All locations to see every location of the account together:
- The Overview starts with a Locations panel that ranks them by average rating. Choose a row to switch to that location.
- Funnels, Ratings and Coupons gain a Location column.
On a phone, open the location switcher from the location's name in the top bar.
Compare funnels
- Analytics → Funnels compared shows each funnel side by side for the period.
- Set the funnel filter to one funnel to see it alone, or to all funnels to see them together.
- Each funnel's own Summary tab has the same figures for that funnel only.
Give people the right access
A User works only in the locations they are given. An Admin works in every location. Set this in Users. See Setting up your RepRocket account.
