Getting started
Creating and launching your first funnel
Make a funnel, make it look like you, test it on your phone and put it where customers are.

Making a funnel takes a few minutes. Launching it well takes a little longer: the right review links, a page that looks like you, a test, and a QR code where customers will see it. This guide covers all of it.
For the screen-by-screen steps of making the funnel, see How to create your first review funnel.
Before you start
Collect:
- Your logo, as a PNG, JPEG, SVG or WebP file, up to 2 MB.
- The review link for each site you want reviews on. See Review links: Google, Yelp, Facebook and other sites.
- The name customers know you by.
Step 1: Create the funnel
Press New funnel at the top of any screen. Choose a starting point:
- The standard funnel suits most businesses. Happy customers go straight to your review links; unhappy customers are asked what went wrong and whether you may contact them.
- A template for your kind of business (café, restaurant, salon, dental practice, garage, hotel, gym, and others) has questions and wording written for it.
Choose the location, name the funnel, add the logo, add the review links, and press Create funnel.
Step 2: Make it look like you
Open the funnel and go to Set up → Look. Start from one of the twelve looks, then set your brand color and background. The page keeps its text readable whatever colors you choose.
See Customizing your funnel's look.
Step 3: Check the questions
Go to Set up → Questions. Read each step as a customer would. Keep it short: every extra step loses some customers before the end.
If you want different steps for different ratings, see Routing guide.
Step 4: Test it on your phone
- Open the funnel's Share tab and scan the QR code with your phone.
- Leave a 5-star rating and follow a review link. Check it opens the right page.
- Scan again and leave a 1-star rating with a comment. Say yes to being contacted and leave your own email.
- Check that both ratings appear on the funnel's Ratings tab, that the 1-star one is in Recovery, and that an alert email arrived from Rep Support.
- Resolve your test in Recovery, so it does not sit in your waiting count.
The preview in Set up saves nothing; only a visit to the real page is recorded.
Step 5: Put it where customers are
- Print a QR card from QR cards: a counter card by the till, a sticker on each table, a business card with the receipt.
- Paste the link into the emails or texts you already send after a visit.
- Tell your staff what the card is for, and ask them to point it out when a customer has just been served.
See How to share your funnel with a link or QR code.
Step 6: Watch the first week
- Recovery: answer every low rating quickly. A call or email within the day often turns an unhappy customer around.
- Overview → From scan to review link: if few people open the page, move the cards; if many open but few rate, shorten the questions.
- Ratings → Google: watch your review count grow, and set a rating goal.
See Understanding your Overview.
